Pressure washing for paths, steps, walls and yards

We pressure wash hard surfaces around homes and business premises: paths, steps, yards, walls, bin stores and car park areas. Driveways and patios have their own page.

Signs a surface needs washing

  • Green algae on paths and steps that turns slippery when it rains.
  • Black spots of lichen on walls and paving.
  • Bin stores that smell or stain in warm weather.
  • Moss growing in the joints of steps and courtyards.

What the job covers

Most jobs mix several of these. List them in the form and we price them together.

  • Paths and steps
  • Yards and courtyards
  • Garden and boundary walls
  • Bin stores and bin areas
  • Car park bays and kerbs at business premises
  • Outside seating areas at shops, pubs and cafés

What to send for a pressure washing quote

Photos of each surface show us the material and how much growth there is.

Go to the form
  • Which surfaces need washing and roughly how big they are, in metres or as a sketch
  • What each surface is made of: concrete, brick, stone or tarmac
  • Photos of the worst areas
  • Whether there is an outside tap
  • For business premises, who to contact on site and when the area is quiet

Questions about pressure washing

Can pressure washing damage walls?

Soft render, old brick and lime mortar can be damaged by high pressure and need a gentler method. Send photos and tell us roughly how old the building is, so the quote uses the right method.

Is this the same as driveway cleaning?

Driveways and patios have their own page. If you want paths and a patio done on the same visit, tick both services in the form.

Ask for a pressure washing quote

Pressure washing is ticked. Add driveway and patio cleaning if you want those washed on the same visit.
